I'm not sure if Rozz or (gasp) Valor authored this but it goes...
"I dreamt I was Dreaming in a dream where I was awake...where dreams are...as real as.."etc ...something like that...you get the idea.
I bought this album from the pawn shop in San Antonio and it was missing all the infomation.

Shadow Project is perhaps the most prolific of Rozz Williams' post-Christian Death era music, and it most closely resembles the work that made him a goth icon. Incorporating punk, glam, and experimental influences and centered around Williams and his wife Eva O., Shadow Project was named after a peculiar effect of the nuclear detonation at Hiroshima (some people left shadows burned into the pavement, but no bodies). This DVD features live performances from the 90's, plus interviews and spoken word performances. Songs include Here And There, Zaned People, Death Plays His Roll, Static Jesus, Holy Hell, Holding You Close, Under Your Wing and Holy Holy.

Rozz Dead???

I've just noticed reading this tribe that Rozz Williams is not alive.
I had no idea... I do listen to Christian Death often, but also Shadow Project, his album with Gitane Demone and so on...

I didn't know he was dead... when did that happen?

Did he kill himself? (that's what I understood reading some old posts, but I'm not sure if that's the case).

Catastrophe/ Ashes "remastered"

I noticed that the re-issues of Catastrophe Ballet and Ashes purport to be remastered, is there anyone here that owns both the earlier release and the reissues, and is there a noticeable difference in sound quality? In other words, should I get the "remastered" discs if I already have the albums?

a very young rozz

I first met Rozz a couple of months after Christian Death started to perform. He was about 18 at the time, and I was an old man of 23. I felt somewhat parental. We remained friends over the years and lived and hung out with each other at various times. We gave each other a lot of support in the early days and took great pleasure in each others creative projects. I actually performed with Rozz (taking him off the cross) during his famous Whiskey performance and again in 1992 when he and Eva reprised the performance, again at the Whiskey, as Shadow Project. He called me a few months before he died to ask me to participate in his current recording project. The next thing I heard was he had taken his own life. Rozz was a beautiful, intelligent man whom I loved very much.

It's really amusing to me that people idolize this person. I knew Rozz during the last year he was alive & have to say that he was the biggest piece of shit that I've ever met. He was SUCH a horrible person - it's really, really a shame that people idolize him & mourn his death. The world's a better place now that that fucker is in the ground. ;]
