I noticed that the re-issues of Catastrophe Ballet and Ashes purport to be remastered, is there anyone here that owns both the earlier release and the reissues, and is there a noticeable difference in sound quality? In other words, should I get the "remastered" discs if I already have the albums?

Sun, August 8, 2004 - 8:20 PMI own the original cd version of "Ashes" & the sound quality is really low. So hopefully the "re-mastered" version of it is a lot better. "Catastrophe Ballet" does sound better than the previous cd release. -

Wed, November 17, 2004 - 7:22 PMI own both the orig. cd and the remastered (US vers.) and the vinyl. The vinyl sounds best of course but the remastered sound better than the 1st version. I only bought them for the few lo-fi live tracks from that era being bonus tracks. The import (UK) remasters include enhanced cd - pictures, I think. Anyone have these?
